Can I make changes to my registration after I've purchased my Winter Carnival items?

NO, so make sure you are certain of your purchase prior to paying! All sales are final. Refunds will not be processed, except in certain circumstances like errors with our registration software or physical injury that prevents attendance. Still all Winter Carnival items are transferable, so any items you purchase that you no longer need you may sell to other students or guests.

Where do I pick up my lift tickets, tubing vouchers, ice skating vouchers, etc?

DUPB will be having numerous days both on and off mountain where attendees are able to pick up their Winter Carnival "packets" which include all tickets for events you registered for.

Check out our Packet Pickup page for more detailed information!

How do I get to the mountain?

Coach bus tickets are available at a limited basis for students only and must be purchased through the registration page. Buses will depart the DU campus on Friday, February 9th at 8 AM and 4PM and Saturday, February 10th at 7AM. Buses will depart  Keystone Mountain on Saturday, February 10th at 6PM and Sunday, February 11th at 12 noon. If you are unable to register for DUPB-sponsored busing, you can also check with local mountain transportation companies such as Colorado Mountain Express, Ride The Powder, or Front Range Ski Bus.

Students and other attendees can park near their lodging rooms if planning to stay overnight. Keystone also offers one-day parking permits. More information regarding Keystone parking can be found here.

Where do I go to register?

To review paying structure, check out this page first. If you are ready to submit your registration and pay, please go directly to our registration page!

Is there a website I can go to for on-mountain accommodations?

Absolutely! You simply need to go to the Keystone website to find prices for lodging, which is separate from Winter Carnival registration. Then call Keystone to make your reservation and provide the discount code GG2DU8.

For lodging price reductions, check out our informational lodging page here.

Are there need-based awards to help with the cost of on-mountain activities?

Yes, DUPB has $15,000 in award funding to assist those with financial need, but you need to fill out the application found on our DUPB orgsync page. The application deadline is January 11th at 11:59 pm!

What should I wear to on-mountain events?

We are here to help!

Christy Sports has a 30% off discount rate for walk-in rentals at Keystone! On the reservation page, enter code "UD18" for the discount!

For skiing and snowboarding: Snow gear is the best thing! Gloves, goggles, sunglasses, waterproof clothing, ski/snowboarding boots, snow jacket, helmet etc.

For tubing: Ski gear is the best to wear. Waterproof clothing, gloves, goggles, snow boots, etc. Keystone recommends to bring a change of shoes if possible! There will be lockers available at the Mountain Service Center, Summit House, and the Mountain House!

For ice skating: Just wear warm clothes! Your ticket includes the rental a ice skates for the session.

For ski lessons: Ski gear, of course. The lesson does not include ski equipment, therefore you will be required to rent ski equipment either through Christy sports or elsewhere.
