University of Denver

The purpose of University of Denver Queer Student Alliance is to educate members within the University of Denver and Greater Denver community about issues that are being faced by the queer community. We seek to teach about our history and to celebrate our struggles, victories, and diversity. We educate general campus members who are not a part of our organization about all of these principles as well.

The Queer Student Alliance is the home for anyone no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity along with those who identify as allies of the queer community. We seek to educate through public events, educational guests speakers and queer focused campaigns. We hope to be active and engaged within the Denver queer community and hope to inspire the same engagement in our community.

If you are interested student, faculty or community member with questions, please visit our contact page or email us at We meet every Tuesday in JMAC 141 at 6:30pm.

Quote of the Month

"I accept you, and you get the same respect from me whether you are black, white, gay straight, Asian, bisexual, Australian, tall, fat, whatever it is. We are all people, and I look at the people of the world the same way, as my brothers and sisters." - Nash Grier
